10 live days · Your work, in practice
Direct a Factory for a strategic priority.
Choose MasterCourse for all ten days and the exclusive Capstone. Test a bounded strategic initiative through simulated operating cycles.
Give your next leadership decision a better foundation. Build from a concise decision brief to proactive agents that maintain an operating review, then coordinate a Factory of proactive AI agent teams that prepares strategy, resources and execution choices for your judgment.
A chief executive must choose priorities, allocate scarce resources and hold the organization to its commitments. The course focuses AI on preparing evidence and exposing tradeoffs while keeping decision rights, accountability and communication with the people responsible.
What you learn
Learn to connect executive prompts and operating-review proactive agents into a Factory of proactive AI agent teams for strategy, resources and execution, while retaining approval of decisions and release.
Build a Factory of proactive AI agent teams for leadership preparation. Use a Dot to coordinate continuing work across their handoffs and return changed evidence, resource options and decisions awaiting the executive. Test changing inputs, blocked work and a later restart. The executive retains spending, staffing, contractual and strategic decisions.
Proactive Agents · OpenAI Dots
Create it. Name it. Put it to work.
Create and test a proactive AI agent, give its role a stable name, and define what it may do. Then hand supported work to OpenAI Dots for one run or a continuing responsibility. Your Dot can keep working between conversations, using approved context and connected tools, and return results or ask for a decision without a fresh prompt for every step.
Give the role a name and a brief
Name the role Operating Review. Give it the initiative, approved measures, constraints, decision log and escalation thresholds. Connect only the selected reporting sources; keep the approved assumptions and audience attached to the role.
Choose a run or an ongoing responsibility
A Dot has its own cloud computer and browser. When the assignment, files and tools are available there, it can work while your phone or computer is off. Always-on means available to continue the responsibility; it may wait for a schedule, input or approval and remains subject to access and usage limits. Work using local files or applications still needs that connected computer online with the ChatGPT app open.
Set the return and the review rhythm
Return changed evidence, resource options and decisions awaiting the executive under the same named responsibility, with source versions and completed, waiting and blocked work clearly separated. Agree whether you need a scheduled report, an update on a material change, or a decision request. The executive retains spending, staffing, contractual and strategic decisions.
Agree when results are due, which changes deserve an alert and where to review them. Confirm recurring schedules, time zones and end dates; connecting an app alone does not enable monitoring. Test a changed input and a blocked step. Before retiring the responsibility, stop its delegated work and cancel its schedules separately. Keep the reviewed instructions so you can recheck access and resume when needed.
Connect only what the role needs
Use approved or fictional business information. Keep board discussions, acquisition plans, employee details and other sensitive material out of unapproved cloud contexts. Delegation of preparation does not authorize spending, hiring decisions, contractual commitments or statements on behalf of the business.
Access to one operating source is not access to the whole organization. Name the approved sources and audiences, and keep confidential context out of broader updates.
This practice is part of the existing proactive agent assignments and review time. It does not add class days or extend the hours shown in your booking.

Daily detail
Follow the work from its starting material to a result you can inspect. Each checkpoint gives you a reason to approve, revise or stop.
Intro
Days 1–2 · Tasks
Frame a useful first pass.
Direct one important task at a time. Give the prompt enough context, inspect the result and improve it before reuse.
Day 01Define the decision only you can make
Use a sample growth or service-expansion decision. Turn a broad ambition into a question with real alternatives, constraints and an accountable decision owner.
- 1.1
Write the decision brief
Specify the decision, why it matters now, the available options and the constraints. Separate the decision itself from research and preparation that can be delegated.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour in Full Course; 30 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- An executive decision brief with scope and ownership.
- 1.2
Inspect the evidence and assumptions
Prompt a summary of the supplied market and operating evidence. Trace material claims to sources and record what would need to be true for each option to work.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 20 minutes in Full Course; 40 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- An evidence map and assumptions register.
- 1.3
Prepare the leadership discussion
Draft a one-page briefing with the choice, tradeoffs, unanswered questions and proposed review criteria. Remove claims that are not supported by the sample materials.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 40 minutes in Full Course; 50 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A reviewed leadership brief and reusable executive prompt.
By the end of the day
A leadership brief that explains the choice and the evidence needed to make it.
Review checkpoint
Check whether the alternatives are meaningfully different and whether every material assertion has support or an explicit assumption label.
Day 02Compare choices and explain the tradeoff
Practice a resource decision and the communication that follows it. Do not let an attractive narrative hide the costs or conditions of the recommendation.
- 2.1
Compare resource options
Use a supplied capacity and cost summary to compare two or three approaches. Identify the constraint each option addresses and the tradeoff it creates.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour in Full Course; 30 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A resource-options table with assumptions and dependencies.
- 2.2
Draft a leadership recommendation
Prepare a short recommendation for the sample leadership team. Include the evidence, risks, decision required and the conditions under which the choice should be revisited.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 20 minutes in Full Course; 40 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A draft recommendation with explicit review conditions.
- 2.3
Refine your executive prompts
Check the brief and recommendation against their sources. Save prompts for strategic questions, operating questions and clear leadership communications.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 40 minutes in Full Course; 50 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- Practice refining executive prompts and checking a decision note against the evidence.
By the end of the day
Practice using prompts to compare evidence, support a decision and communicate it clearly.
Review checkpoint
Confirm that a proposed choice is not presented as an approved commitment, and that estimates are not framed as promised results.
Intensive
Days 3–7 · Proactive Agents
Keep recurring work moving.
Build proactive agents that run defined tasks over time. Give each one a trigger, working record and limits, then review its exceptions and results.
Build the proactive agent and test one complete run. Name its role, approve its inputs and connections, then hand suitable work to a Dot. Choose a single assignment or a continuing responsibility with clear reports, review points and a way to stop.
Day 03Keep strategic signals in view
Build a proactive agent that checks a defined set of approved sources on a schedule. Its purpose is to prepare relevant changes, not an endless news feed.
- 3.1
Define the strategic signal proactive agent
Set the leadership question, source list, update frequency and relevance prompt. Save the last reviewed material and require source dates and references in the digest.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours in Full Course; 1 hour in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A signal-monitoring proactive agent and a source register.
- 3.2
Test a meaningful source change
Run seeded updates containing a duplicate, an old item and a material change. Have the proactive agent ignore repeated work, flag weak evidence and route a consequential finding for review.
Proactive agent practice. Create and test the leadership preparation proactive agent on one sample run. Name the role Operating Review and hand supported work to a Dot using selected operating measures, approved initiative records and a decision log. Define permitted actions and the return you expect; inspect the first result before giving it an ongoing responsibility.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours in Full Course; 1 hour in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A tested strategic digest and evidence exception queue.
By the end of the day
A recurring signal digest tied to one strategic question.
Review checkpoint
Inspect the cited material and check that the digest separates a reported fact, an interpretation and a recommendation.
Day 04Turn performance changes into questions
Give a proactive agent a recurring operating-review assignment. Each change should lead to a clear question for the responsible function, not an unsupported explanation.
- 4.1
Build a performance-review proactive agent
Define the accepted operating-data trigger, metric definitions and comparison period. Have the proactive agent prepare a concise variance summary with data owners and source references.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours in Full Course; 1 hour in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A performance proactive agent and an operating-review draft.
- 4.2
Handle conflicting metrics
Introduce inconsistent period labels and competing definitions. Pause affected conclusions, request reconciliation from the owner and preserve the unresolved issue in the review pack.
Proactive agent practice. Connect only the approved performance sources and confirm the review cadence. Introduce conflicting numbers; the proactive role should question the metric definition and owner rather than choose a convenient answer.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours in Full Course; 1 hour in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A metric-clarification queue and corrected operating summary.
By the end of the day
A repeatable performance review that exposes the questions leadership needs answered.
Review checkpoint
Check metric definitions and period consistency; the proactive agent must not infer a business cause from a numerical change alone.
Day 05Keep resource choices explicit
Build a proactive agent that updates a small set of approved resource scenarios when assumptions change. Keep financial and operational constraints visible together.
- 5.1
Configure the scenario proactive agent
Define permitted cost, capacity and timing assumptions for the sample initiative. Save each approved assumption set and produce a comparison when one of its inputs changes.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours in Full Course; 1 hour in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A resource-scenario proactive agent and assumption version log.
- 5.2
Test conflicting constraints
Seed a lower budget and a shorter deadline. Have the proactive agent show the tradeoff, stop infeasible combinations and ask for executive direction rather than inventing capacity.
Proactive agent practice. Keep resource-scenario preparation available as constraints change. Have the proactive role update options against the accepted budget and capacity, report the tradeoff and wait for an executive decision before any commitment.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours in Full Course; 1 hour in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A scenario comparison and a decision request.
By the end of the day
A recurring resource comparison that makes the consequences of a changed assumption clear.
Review checkpoint
Review feasibility with the supplied constraints. The proactive agent may propose choices; it may not allocate budgets or make staffing decisions.
Day 06Keep decisions connected to follow-through
Use a proactive agent to maintain approved decisions, owners and review dates. The executive should be able to see what changed without reconstructing every conversation.
- 6.1
Maintain the leadership decision log
Trigger updates from approved decision notes. Record the choice, rationale, owner, dependencies and next review date while retaining previous versions.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours in Full Course; 1 hour in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A decision-record proactive agent and a versioned commitments register.
- 6.2
Prepare follow-up and escalation
Simulate an overdue dependency and a changed assumption. Draft a focused follow-up and an escalation note, requiring approval before messages or commitments change.
Proactive agent practice. Confirm when the Dot revisits the leadership decision log and which changes warrant an alert. Return follow-up and escalation drafts; an unapproved recommendation must not become an instruction to staff.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours in Full Course; 1 hour in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A leadership follow-up queue and dependency report.
By the end of the day
A decision record that connects the original rationale to current action and review.
Review checkpoint
Check that a proactive agent’s inferred owner or date is not mistaken for a leadership commitment and that earlier decisions remain traceable.
Day 07Run the leadership review cycle
Bring signals, performance, resources and commitments into one review. Test several compressed cycles so the proactive agents demonstrate work over time.
- 7.1
Assemble the recurring review pack
Schedule a briefing proactive agent to gather accepted outputs and highlight the decisions required. Mark stale inputs and unresolved differences instead of smoothing them into one confident narrative.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 40 minutes in Full Course; 50 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- An executive-review proactive agent and a concise leadership pack.
- 7.2
Test delays and interrupted runs
Delay a metric, repeat a signal and interrupt the pack assembly. Verify saved state, bounded retries and resumption from the last accepted step without duplicate follow-ups.
Proactive agent practice. Let Operating Review continue a cloud-capable assignment while you leave the chat. Inspect the result, block one input and test recovery. Then retire the responsibility: stop active delegates, cancel future schedules and retain the reviewed instructions. Recheck access and inputs before calling it back into service.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours 20 minutes in Full Course; 1 hour 10 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- An operating-review test log and proactive agent instructions.
By the end of the day
A tested operating-review process that brings changes and exceptions to leadership.
Review checkpoint
Every recommendation must show its evidence, assumptions and decision owner; a well-formatted pack is not evidence of a sound conclusion.
MasterCourse - Capstone
Days 8–10 · MasterCourse only · Factory
Direct a Factory of proactive AI agent teams.
Coordinate multiple supervised proactive AI agent teams around a larger outcome. Define what each proactive AI agent team delivers, how work changes hands and where you approve the result.
Build a Factory of proactive AI agent teams around a shared outcome. Give each team accepted inputs, a named responsibility and a clear handoff. A Dot can coordinate continuing work and delegate bounded runs; each role does not need a separate personal Dot.
Day 08Organize proactive AI agent teams around one priority
Design a Factory for a bounded expansion or service-launch scenario. Separate strategic evidence, resource planning and execution review into coordinated proactive AI agent teams.
- 8.1
Assign strategy, resource and execution proactive AI agent teams
Group market and evidence proactive agents into Strategy; performance and scenario proactive agents into Resources; and commitment and proactive review agents into Execution. Define each proactive AI agent team’s required contribution.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 40 minutes in Full Course; 50 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A strategic Factory plan with proactive AI agent team outputs and decision rights.
- 8.2
Set proactive AI agent team handoff criteria
Specify how evidence, assumptions, resource limits and approval status move between proactive AI agent teams. Require a receiving proactive AI agent team to accept the premise before building on it.
Proactive agent practice. Give the Dot the Strategy, Resources and Execution proactive AI agent teams’ responsibilities and acceptance checks. Test the first handoff against the initiative’s current constraints. Give each role a stable name and decide which responsibilities continue between cycles.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours 20 minutes in Full Course; 1 hour 10 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- Handoff contracts and a shared initiative record.
By the end of the day
A Factory of multiple proactive AI agent teams preparing one coherent strategic work product.
Review checkpoint
Check that each proactive AI agent team has a distinct job and that recommendations cannot become commitments without executive approval.
Day 09Resolve the tradeoffs between proactive AI agent teams
Run the proactive AI agent teams against one initiative and introduce a conflict between opportunity and capacity. The Factory should expose the choice rather than hide the disagreement.
- 9.1
Connect strategy to resources and execution
Pass a referenced strategic brief to Resources, then route feasible scenarios to Execution for dependency and milestone planning. Record acceptance and requests for revision.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 40 minutes in Full Course; 50 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A coordinated initiative plan with proactive AI agent team handoff records.
- 9.2
Reconcile a conflicting recommendation
Seed a promising opportunity that exceeds a resource constraint. Have the proactive AI agent teams identify the conflicting assumptions, prepare alternatives and ask the executive to decide what changes.
Proactive agent practice. Introduce a recommendation that exceeds available resources. Have the Dot bring the affected proactive AI agent teams’ evidence together and return the tradeoff for the executive to decide. Check that waiting work resumes only after the required input or decision is accepted.
Suggested time for this task: 2 hours 20 minutes in Full Course; 1 hour 10 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A tradeoff brief and a revised plan for the proactive AI agent teams.
By the end of the day
A Factory that presents a coherent choice while preserving the evidence behind competing views.
Review checkpoint
Verify that the final recommendation reflects the approved constraint and that all proactive AI agent teams use the same decision and assumption versions.
Day 10Approve the next operating cycle
Demonstrate the Factory over a compressed strategic review cycle. Finish with a working method for preparing future decisions, not a promise that strategy can be automated.
- 10.1
Refine the operating boundaries
Use the coordination tests to tighten each proactive AI agent team’s prompts, permissions, schedules and escalation rules. Document which judgments remain with leaders and functional owners.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour in Full Course; 30 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A Factory operating guide and decision-rights map.
- 10.2
Define executive approval gates
Set the conditions for accepting evidence, approving a resource scenario and releasing a leadership communication. Assign owners and return routes for incomplete work.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 20 minutes in Full Course; 40 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- An executive approval plan and release checklist.
- 10.3
Run the complete initiative review
Process a new signal, an updated constraint and a returned recommendation. Assemble the revised decision brief, resource comparison and execution plan for human review.
Proactive agent practice. Run another operating cycle with the approved decision recorded. Review the returned plan and verify that consequential actions remain subject to the named approval gates. Retire the Factory’s active work and schedules, then rehearse a restart from its reviewed roles and a fresh approved input.
Suggested time for this task: 1 hour 40 minutes in Full Course; 50 minutes in Crash Course. Part of your class day, not extra time.- Practice result
- A demonstrated executive Factory and reviewed strategic decision pack.
By the end of the day
Practice directing a Factory of executive-support proactive AI agent teams and reviewing the evidence behind its recommendations.
Review checkpoint
The executive approves decisions and communications. Classroom simulations do not establish a business outcome or authorize spending, hiring or external commitments.
Days 8–10 · MasterCourse - Capstone
A Factory with clear handoffs.
Prepare a coherent strategic decision and execution plan as market evidence, performance and resource constraints change.
Proactive AI agent team 1
Strategy

- Signal-monitoring, Evidence, Options
- Deliverable
- A referenced strategic brief with options and assumptions.
- Handoff
- Send the accepted opportunity and constraints to Resources; escalate weak or conflicting evidence.
- Acceptance check
- The decision is explicit, material claims are sourced and assumptions are separated from facts.
Proactive AI agent team 2
Resources
- Proactive agent roles
- Performance, Scenario, Constraint-checking
- Deliverable
- A resource comparison with feasible options and material tradeoffs.
- Handoff
- Send accepted scenarios to Execution; return unsupported premises to Strategy.
- Acceptance check
- Scenario inputs are consistent, resource limits are explicit and no allocation is treated as approved.
Proactive AI agent team 3
Execution
- Proactive agent roles
- Commitment, Dependency, Executive-briefing
- Deliverable
- An initiative plan and executive review pack with decisions and owners.
- Handoff
- Return conflicts to their originating proactive AI agent team and present the complete choice to the executive.
- Acceptance check
- The plan follows the approved scenario and retains clear decision rights, dependencies and release conditions.
Simulate several operating cycles with new evidence and changed resource constraints. Keep a shared decision record, preserve accepted versions and route consequential exceptions to the appropriate leader.
The executive and designated functional owners approve strategy, resources, commitments and communications. Proactive Agents prepare and track the work within assigned limits.
The Capstone builds and tests a supervised prototype with sample cycles, revisions and exceptions. Longer projects continue beyond class; three days do not imply completion of a full production program.
A Factory that can carry work forward
Coordinate Strategy, Resources and Execution as teams of proactive AI agents around an ongoing priority. The Dot carries accepted assumptions between them, revisits dependencies and brings conflicting recommendations together. The executive decides tradeoffs and authorizes action before the next cycle.
Keep the approved brief, source versions and decisions in the shared handoff record. Notes help preserve context; they do not replace a checked record. Test a second cycle, a blocked handoff and recovery. Retire the Factory by stopping active delegates and future schedules; retain the reviewed roles for a later restart.

Can Intro or Intensive tuition count toward MasterCourse?
The amount actually paid for Intro and/or Intensive can be credited once toward one MasterCourse enrollment within twelve months of each purchase. Intro and Intensive do not credit each other. No credit toward other programs, software or cash. Credit requests are reviewed against purchase records and eligibility; they are not an automatic checkout discount.
Full refund, transfer and credit policyWhat happens if I miss a day?
A missed day has a guaranteed place on the same curriculum day in a later cohort, free of charge, within twelve months of the original cohort's last scheduled day. After this window, new enrollment uses the then-published fee; day credits have no cash value and cannot buy a different curriculum day. An attended day may be repeated without charge within the same twelve-month window, subject to space. One free transfer of the whole seat or its unused days to a later cohort, in either published format, without a reason or a price increase, within twelve months of the original cohort’s last scheduled day. A day already consumed on one format is consumed on both; unused curriculum days are portable across dates and formats.
Full refund, transfer and credit policyWhat should I know before enrolling?
Full refund for a cancelled live program before its first scheduled session begins, including individual and group purchases and an approved MasterMind season. No refund after the purchased program starts, including dissatisfaction or absence, except for a session the provider fails to deliver. Statutory rights are unaffected. Partial attendance consumes the day under the published attendance rules. Read the full terms before choosing your class.
Full refund, transfer and credit policyWhen do I start using Dots?
Intro teaches individual tasks, clear prompts and review. Intensive teaches you to create proactive agents, test their work and hand supported responsibilities to OpenAI Dots. MasterCourse adds a Factory of proactive AI agent teams with shared records and coordinated handoffs.
Can the work continue after I close my phone or computer?
A Dot has its own cloud computer and browser. When the assignment, files and tools are available there, it can work while your phone or computer is off. Always-on means available to continue the responsibility; it may wait for a schedule, input or approval and remains subject to access and usage limits. Work using local files or applications still needs that connected computer online with the ChatGPT app open.
How do I stay in control over time?
Give the Dot and its assignments recognizable names, keep approved context current, and agree what deserves a report. It can surface missing input, access or decisions. To pause or retire work, check active delegates and saved schedules separately; pausing the main conversation does not stop them all. Review access and inputs before resuming.
What material can I use for the cloud exercises?
Use approved or fictional business information. Keep board discussions, acquisition plans, employee details and other sensitive material out of unapproved cloud contexts. Delegation of preparation does not authorize spending, hiring decisions, contractual commitments or statements on behalf of the business.
